Kavisa has been running ever since she learned how to walk. Her love of running was solidified as she realized she enjoyed all those soccer running drills. After years of middle & high school track she continued to run recreationally. While at university, a friend introduced her to the joys of half marathon races and she was hooked. She has since run several marathons and other races.
Kavisa incorporates yoga into her training and post season recovery. As a fellow runner she also helps other athletes leverage the restorative and strengthening power of the poses and breath work.
