The sudden calm before the moving storm

I didn’t quite realize how hectic my life had gotten until suddenly the 3 most time consuming aspects of my life ceased. After four years, my last day of work at TFAll was last week. After four months of school sessions, mentor meetings, buddy meetings, required yoga classes, homework and self study – I’m a certified yoga teacher. Plus I’ve put some aspects of my personal life roller coasters on hold. As my husband and I prepare to move to Sacramento, CA (from Brooklyn, NY) in less than 2 weeks, I finally can sit here in calm and set aside the much needed time to reflect and meditate.

We’ve started saying our goodbyes to our friends, family and city. We’ve made a list of all the places and things to do before we are no longer New Yorkers….. attended a Brooklyn Nets game, watch the sunrise over the Brooklyn Bridge, walked over the High Line…. Sadly, my right sartorius is still bothering me so I didn’t run he Brooklyn Half Marathon. But the hubby represented our family, running a great 1:40:33. Looking forward to enjoying and living every moment of our last few days. Next up – a night of dancing with my girlfriends and holiday BBQ in Prospect Park.
